Located in the heart of Tralee town, The Grand Hotel dates from 1928 and was built on the site of Tralee Castle which was demolished in the 19th century.

The Pikeman Bar is named after the Pikeman Statue (Croppy Boy) just outside the hotel on the main street. It's an old-fashioned pub which used to be the local post-office and stil retains the old leaded glass, open fireplaces and wood-panelled walls. Bar food is served until 9:30pm, after which the Traditional Irish Music Session starts.

Take the N21/22 straight into Tralee town centre. At AIB Bank, turn left into Denny Street. The hotel is the second building on the left directly opposite The Pikeman statue.
